2009 AGM

March 22nd is the date for the 2009 BKKS AGM.  This year it will be held at the Drayton Leisure Golf Centre, Banbury, Oxon at 1pm.

There are a number of vacancies on the BKKS Council for 2009 and whilst there have been offers to fill some these vacancies already they still have to be advertised.

The vacancies are: Treasurer, Membership Secretary, Equipment Officer and Magazine Collator.  Council Members are elected for a 2 year period and the roles do inevitably take up a lot of time and effort.  Whilst every role on Council is important my main concern for 2009 is to find a magazine collator.  This role does take time and effort to get the articles from Sections and Members for our magazine pages and whilst I have managed it since the middle of 2008 I cannot continue to do this as well as the General Secretary’s role.  If any of our members would like to take this on please do give me a call to discuss.
