Crouch Valley 25th Anniversary Koi Auction
Sunday 6th September saw the Crouch Valley Koi Club have their 25th Anniversary Koi Auction, and what can I say but this was another event that went down well by all that attended.
In all there was 15 vats beaming with Koi and once again these ranged from anything from your garden Ghost Koi to some beautiful Koi from the likes of Japanese breeder Dianichi.
The members from the Crouch Valley had began preparations for the Auction on the Saturday, and when I arrived on the Sunday morning at 07:30 things were very much well under way and on schedule.
Once again there was dry goods on sale and also various dry goods involved at the start of the auction these varied from air pumps, UV units to water purifiers and filter bays, very much a mix bag and waiting for that bargain hunter to come along and snap up a deal.
The benching went well and very smooth this again was looked after by Chris and his young new assistant George, thanks guys for your time and efforts.
The Chief Auctioneers again were Vic and Darren, they made sure that all the lots went through and everything was working to schedule, again cheers gents for your time.
People started to come through the doors and 11:00 was getting closer and closer, you can already see the public with their voting cards ready and their list of possible buys.
Please see attached the various pictures from the Auction, you can see these days are very popular with the members and the public and it goes to show that even in this strange economical climate we are in, that people are still enjoying their hobby and are willing to go out and buy that extra little special living jewel for their pond.
