The 9th Annual Birmingham and West Midlands closed show will now be held on the weekend of 1st and 2nd of October 2011, this is one week later than the usual date, so please make a note of it The venue remains unchanged as Highdown Nurseries, Sugar Loaf Lane, Nr Stourbridge, West Midlands. Other Birmingham news: March meeting saw the AGM where all committee members were re-elected .
At our April meeting we were given a very informative talk by Rod Isted of Healthy Koi all about diagnosing koi ailments. Other guest speakers lined up include Dennis Wordsworth for the May meeting.
May 1st sees us head out on our now annual dealers trip. This year we will be visiting Avenue Fisheries and Japanese Koi Company. Other forthcoming visits include: The South East Koi Club the Liverpool koi club and The Northern Koi Club.
Also the beginning of May sees the return of the Club’s Grow & Show competition, this year it will be held in conjunction with Purdin Koi Farm and Topponds.
