The National Show
New Vats For The National
I mentioned earlier in a posting that we wanted to increase the size of the vats for the National show. So at a meeting before the AGM we decided that we would purchase 30 X 2.8 metre vats. These are slightly bigger than the usual vats we use, and will enable more koi in them. They are also slightly higher than the originals as well, so to protect the koi from jumping out.
National Update (March)
By now, the vat request forms will have been sent out , and hopefully we will have had plenty of replies filling all the exhibitor vats. The waiting list is very healthy with people wanting to show, so if you are on the list, just get ready for ‘that letter’, email or phone call offering you a vat if one becomes available.

Show Chairman's Update
As I write this, there is only one week to go to the EMKC winter show. Things are really hectic for me, but once that is over I can concentrate on the National show. Also today (12/02/10), myself and Peter Robbins have just moved the second equipment container from Newark to Stafford, not an easy task, but all done in 5 hours.

Help Build The National Show
Now that the 2009 show is over, our attentions turn to the staging of the 2010 National show, if you'd like to help bring this show to fruition, then now is your chance to volunteer your services for next year.
New blood is needed to help keep this show going, it cant carry on with the same folk year in, year out and if you're interested, you could even take up a show committee position.
