Kennet Valley Koi Show

The Kennet Valley Annual Koi Show 2011 will be held on the 3rd & 4th of September at Hare Hatch Sheeplands Garden Centre, London Road, Hare Hatch, Reading, RG10 9HW.

The show will open on Saturday at 12:00 and remain open for you to view the koi, look around the dealer stands and enjoy the Bonsai exhibition until 5pm where as on Sunday the show will be open from 10am till 4pm.

A Great Night At Crouch Valley

What a great night at crouch valley. Wednesday 20th July, we had the double pleasure of holding our club night at Dave and Dianne spectacular Garden and ponds as well as entertaining Mike Snaden of Yume Koi.

Dave is a legend, for his water quality and healthcare for his spectacular collection of fish. Dianne, has set a stage to show the ponds with fantastic, tropical gardens and great hospitality. Together they opened up there house to over 75 members to see an amazing set up.

Essex Show 2011

The Essex section koi show takes place this weekend, the 23rd & 24th July between 10am and 5pm

There will be exhibitors showing over 250 different fish, ranging from sizes 15cm to just under a metre, plus stall holders selling pond equipment, fish based products including health and garden items.

Also an undercover craft area and a kids entertainment area.

Entrance price: £5 Adults, Children £2 (11 to 18)

Cambridgeshire Koi Show

The main event of the summer, the BKKS Cambridgeshire Koi Show is being held over the weekend of the 16th and 17th of July at Mudds Drove, Threeholes, Cambridgeshire, PE14 9JU and is open from 9.30 on both days closing at 5pm on Saturday and 4pm on Sunday.

For all those wishing to simply gaze at the centre ring, there will be 50 vats of some of the finest koi in the country on display for you to feast your eyes and camera lenses on, but when you’ve done all of that and enjoyed a drink at the licensed bar, there’s plenty more for you to see.

MKA visit the Koi Collection

Well! Our summer programme started off with a visit to Ken Wilkie at the Koi Collection, Corley, Coventry. Ken has been a great supporter of the Midland Koi Association, he has been our main Show sponsor for the last two years, since the Club ventured back into the Koi Show circuit after a fifteen year plus break.
