Crouch Valley 25th Anniversary Koi Auction

Sunday 6th September saw the Crouch Valley Koi Club have their 25th Anniversary Koi Auction, and what can I say but this was another event that went down well by all that attended.

In all there was 15 vats beaming with Koi and once again these ranged from anything from your garden Ghost Koi to some beautiful Koi from the likes of Japanese breeder Dianichi.

Midland Koi Association Show 2009

On the 20th September 2009 between 10.00am & 4.00pm The Midland Koi Association is holding its first Show for over 15 years.

The show will be held at Garden Organic, Ryton, Coventry, Warwickshire, CV8 3LG, which was recently voted the 3rd best garden to visit in Central England in a Nationwide Gardeners’ World poll. It is also the Community open day at Garden Organic, which means that entry to the gardens is free of charge (normally £6.00).

The Show area is next to the orchard and entry to the Show is only £1.00 per adult with children free.

Cambridgeshire Koi Club visits the EMKC

On the 26th of July, the members of the Cambridgeshire Koi Club boarded their mini bus and jumped in their cars and headed north to the ponds, gardens and amazing hospitality  of the East Midlands Koi Club (EMKC).

NWKS Visit To Birmingham & West Mids

When the North Wales Koi Society were told they'd be visiting six “Virgin Ponds” of the Birmingham and West Midlands Koi Society they were expecting a good day out, and they weren't left disappointed.

The two Rogers met us just off the M6, and explained that the 6 ponds they had lined up for us had never been used for pond visits before, they didn’t exactly say “please be gentle with them……..” but almost lol

East Meets West

On Sunday 5th of July 2009 27 members of the East Midlands Koi Club made a return visit to the Birmingham & West Midlands Koi Society. Having previously had their club come over to our neck of the woods just the month before we knew we were going to have great time and be well looked after by these fantastic people, and they didn't disappoint.
