Well, it's been another glorious weekend at Newark, and another new name added to the ranks of Grand Champion Winners.

While going green is generally regarded as a good thing these days, it's probably not what you want after coming back from holiday with 10 days to go until your club's photo contest. After some encouraging results last year, our big Sanke was injured and couldn't participate, but we were hoping for big things this year. However, we can't even see the koi at the moment (unless you count vague cream-ish shapes moving in the murk), let alone catch them. To add to the issue the UV bulb has gone, and it's an odd size (a big one) and is still on back order.
