National Build Day 1 - 2010

Yo Guys

Well this is day one of my National show blog.

So as like last year, the first job for me is to go and pick up the van, remember last year I crashed into a height barrier then hit a post with the wing mirror? So not to be different this year, within 5 mins of picking up the van I reversed over my garden and hit a flag pole!

The van is ok but the flag pole looked a bit wonkie.

Next whilst driving to the show ground I hit the hedge at the side of the road with the wing mirror, well the hedge did need trimming a bit.

Eventually we arrived at Stafford in one piece and began the build, I haven’t taken any picks yet but will do so in the morning, but things are looking good, the large holding vats are in place and are being filled, and all the equipment is in the hall.

The new larger vats arrive in the morning, so we can start laying them out.

Hopefully the webcam will be working tomoz and you will be able to see the build happening.

So off to the pub now to neck a few beers and relax.  Its going to be a busy time over the next few days.
