Hi Sukoi

When logging in it takes a few seconds only but it can be slower sometimes which can be a bit of a pain but nines out of ten it's a matter of seconds.

Terminology?

In most cases, "Getting a Log-on" would be interpreted as registering for the site. Registration is an automated process, and the site is set to send out e-mails at 5 minute intervals, so assuming there is no transmission delay, this should be pretty quick. This works via the standard mechanism whereby an e-mail is sent out with a specific coded link that must be replied to to activate the account. If a user does not recieve this within the first hour then it is likely that either their e-mail client has discarded it as spam (check filters and mailboxes carefully) or that they made a typo in submitting their e-mail address in which case the e-mail could never have been delievered. Any and all problems of this nature should be addressed to web@bkks.org.uk and I'll get to them as soon as I can.

Broxandval interpret your question as logging in. This site is known to be a slower system than before but 2-3 seconds appears to be the norm. If you experince a longer delay, and it is repeatable, please let me know. Otherwise, give it a few more seconds and try reloading the page.

Hope this helps,

Gareth
