Who's coming to Cuttlebrook?

I'm sure that you're all aware of the upcoming members day and Koi Auction at Cuttlebrook Koi (I couldn't have made it much more subtle on the home page, I did try!). This was a fantastic event last year and raised a lot of money for the society. I came away with some lovely koi as did many other people!

So I'll be there again on Sunday with my camera, and I'll do a full write up for the magazine. I'm hoping for a nice Showa or Shiro Utsuri this year, and my wife wants another Chag! But who else is going and what are hoping to net?

Hannibal's fine...

... within 20 minutes of going into his new home, he was up and trying to eat hailstones (we're thinking of shortening his name to just nibal, becuase he seems to have a permenant case...) The new chag (now "Honey") is also going to be a problem, as it's trying to out-eat our other chag, which is twice it's size.

Have you taken that hammer to Daisy's piggy bank yet Eye-wink

To those of you who didn't come, we had another great day, and many thanks again to Mark and Lisa for hosting this event Thumbs Up! A full write up will appear in the next few days; for now I'm still processing all the photos (I had a small camera problem so there aren't that many good ones I'm afraid Dunce ) and I'lll post them all here in the next few days.

Cuttlebrook Koi Auction 2008 photos are in the gallery

direct link - http://www.bkks.org.uk/v/Events/Cuttlebrook_Koi_Auction_2008/

They are not great quality - there is excessive noise in many images and some colours are a little saturated, but the best ones are there anyhow. If anyone wants any images then please give me the picture name and I can give you the full size file (around 8mb each)

I'm going to put together a write up to go alongside this in the next few days. If anyone would like to contribute then please let me know!

Best Regards,

Gareth
