For the Ulcer

I've had very good results from a product called Io-Sal available from Allandale Koi - it's a topical application so simply squirt on.

For the mouth rot, I have no idea; but it sounds as if there is something more sinister going on in your pond. I'm not sure that Virasure will be effective either - from what I have read it is best as a preventative.

Based on your location I would suggest contacting the South East section ( http://www.bkks.org.uk/Sections/South_East ) who may have someone close to you who can help or can put you in touch with the local HSC officer.

I hope your sanke pulls through,

Gareth

does not need covering

It's Iodine based, so it just needs to be squirted on, left around 10 seconds, and release the fish. No need for anaesthatisation of the fish either. Just be VERY careful not to get it on the gills - so take care if applying it near the mouth.
