Must say this new web site is much easier to use. Not sure thou if I shall be able to contribute regularly! Our pond built in 1997 has vortex and three bay filter with brush and Jap matting and holds 3000gls. It is covered and has a 2kw electric heater. Temperature has been kept throughout winter between 14 - 16c. Last summer fitted a 'Easy Pod' to the skimmer and the result is the best water I have had since the pond was built! Three new koi from Japan placed in the pond in December are thriving and the older fish have never looked better!

Just proves you cannot have enough filtration!
