Announcing your Koi Show

Hi All,

While you are welcome to announce your sections koi show in this forum, this will not add it to the site calendar, so it will not appear in the list of forthcoming events.

Can I please encourage everyone to post the show details directly into the calendar as well, which you can do from your menu on the page right-hand column (Under Create Content>>>Event) or directly from this link:

Chattering in the Summer-House - please read first!

Hi All,

I'm intending this forum to be a general catch all for anything at all that you want to discuss at a community, though personally I draw the line at Soap Opera plots. The one thing I do ask however is that you consider creating Blog (web-log) entries in place of postings in here if the subject is mildly related to koi and not relevant to another of the forums.

Enjoy!

Gareth

Tutorial: Upload photos and Post to the forum

This is the first in a series of guides on how to use the website. This will talk you through uploading a picture into your own gallery, and subsequently using this picture in a forum, or any other post.

Clicking on the picture will take you through to the gallery, where you can view each step of the process in turn. There are 13 steps (so much for the 12 step program) and I've tried to be as thorough as possible for the non-technical amongst you!

Remember Me?

In response to a request, I've turned on the "Remember Me" checkbox for logging in to the site.

Migration Complete

You might have seen a wildlife program where herds of wildebeest* complete their relentless migration across the scorched plains of the serengeti, braving droughts, bush fires, and crocodile infested rivers to reach their ultimate goals.

You may know about the swallow which returns to Africa every winter**, but have you heard of the Arctic Tern that flies from the North to the South pole, and back, every year.

Meanwhile, in the depths of the oceans humpback whales drift around the oceans in a vast unobserved ballet that no-one can fathom***.
