The 15th Annual Koi Show took place on the 4th/5th of August at Coleman’s Garden Centre, Templepatrick, with competitors from all over Ireland. 102 fish were entered this year and the BKKS judge was Mr. Gary Pritchard, ( President of The BBKS ) , also in attendance was Mr. Rod Taylor HSC. Also attended by Becky Rodgers and Adam from Koi Magazine, who had been over doing reports on some of our members ponds. The show was an overall success with a very good attendance from the public and Koi club members,The weather was unsettled , but didn't stop visitors fron attending.

Well not long now till the BKKS AGM, I really do hope to make it this year as it would be great to see a few faces that ive seen around the forums.

Well today is Monday 3rd March, its a little bit chilly outside so looks like the weather man has it right and that we could be facing a cold snap.

Pond looked good over the weekend, im really happy with my water clarity at the moment I just hope that continues when I take the covers off come April time.

I have decided that I have 2 Koi to move on, one a 25cm Ogata Showa and also one 30cm Ogata Shusui, these are not show winner by any standard but they are attractive koi which I hope will go to a good home over the next couple of months.
